Due to a two year construction replacement of two major bridges, the state will completely close both North and South bound lanes of Business I-85 between New Cut Road (Spartanburg Community College exit) and Hearon Circle beginning July 12th, 2021. This will cause patients who are coming from West Spartanburg and areas of North Spartanburg to North Grove Dental to reroute with additional travel time.

Patients using Business I-85 from the northeast part of the county and Cherokee counties should not be affected per SCDOT as the closure is past the Highway #9/Business I-85 Exit #6 South Exit.

The SCDOT has recommended that those affected consider the following routes:

​

1.) Through downtown Spartanburg via Highway 29 to Highway 221 to Highway #9/Boiling Springs Road past Spartanburg Medical Center's main campus and on to North Grove Medical Park.

2.) I-26 to Main I-85 to Highway #9 via Exit #72 (USC Spartanburg/Wofford/Converse exit). Continue on to Business I-85 to Charlotte and then to Exit #6 South (Boiling Springs Road) which will take you to the North Grove Medical Park. (this is the main detour and does become backed up in the mornings. Please continue on to option 3 if so)

3.) I-26 to Main I-85 to Highway #9 via Exit #75 (Boiling Springs Exit) and turn south at top of exit towards Spartanburg and continue on to North Grove Medical Park.
